Hi, I’m Miriam!
I’m a certified Yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance and I’m so excited to be part of your Yoga journey.
My mission is to help you find more balance and happiness through Holistic Yoga that fits your individual body and personal needs.
I take into account your Ayurvedic constitution, health concerns, mental state, personal issues and current life situation in order to create personalized Yoga sequences that are right for YOU.
Another passion of mine is teaching Yoga and meditation to kids with the aim of enabling them to blossom into positive, healthy and confident individuals.
Yoga found me during a difficult time in my life and had an enormous influence on my health and wellbeing. It helped me be less stressed, quiet my mind and find balance. Along with meditation, Yoga led me to more inner peace and stability and has been an integral part of my life ever since. If I can share even a small piece of that with you, then I consider myself extremely lucky.
The more I saw the positive effects Yoga had on me, the more I realized that I wanted to share this gift with the world. A former high school teacher, I decided to combine my love for Yoga and teaching and offer Yoga and meditation not only to adults, but also to kids.
I believe that Yoga has the power to allow everyone to find balance of mind, body and spirit and most of all, to empower us to become more healthy and happy human beings.
What is Holistic Yoga?
My approach to Yoga is that there is no “one size fits all”. We all have different bodies, health issues, lifestyles and stressors. We live in different environments, have different jobs and our life circumstances are not the same.
Someone who is stressed and anxious might need a more calming Yoga practice. On the other hand, a person that feels sluggish and has weight issues would benefit from a more energizing and dynamic Yoga. Working holistically means that I look at the person as a whole in order to offer an individualized Yoga practice tailored to my clients’ specific needs.
The beauty of Holistic Yoga is that it is for everyone! No matter how old you are, if you’re flexible or not, a beginner or more advanced – I will help you find the yoga that suits YOU.
How can we work together?
In order to get clear about your specific needs and the results you want to achieve with your life, we will first look at your physical and mental constitution (or “dosha” in Ayurveda), your state of mind and health, current life situation and personal issues you might struggle with.
I will then create a customized Yoga practice for you, which always includes a breathing technique and meditation that complements the Yoga poses. I will also consult you regarding possible lifestyle changes you might want to make in order to bring even more balance into your life. These include nutritional recommendations, Ayurvedic practices, meditation and breathing techniques, morning and nighttime routines, productivity tips and more.
Over time we will assess your progress and modify your personal practice if needed to make sure you keep on reaping the benefits that Yoga will bring into your life.
YOGA FOR KIDS
Why Yoga for kids?
Our kids grow up in a world full of business and distractions – school pressures, competitive sports, stressed parents, TV and much more. These modern-day influences can create stress and anxiety at an early age. As a former high school teacher I incorporated Yoga and meditation into my students’ school day and witnessed how these practices can help children become calmer, more balanced and focused.
The beauty of Yoga lies in its accessibility for every child, no matter its flexibility, size or age. Yoga in itself is non-competitive and encourages compassion towards others and towards oneself. There is no pressure for kids to compare themselves to someone else or “to win”. Practiced at an early age, Yoga can help in cultivating a positive body image, building self-esteem and learning body awareness. On a physical level, it enhances our children’s strength, flexibility and coordination.
In my approach to Yoga for kids I combine movement, stillness, music and even storytelling to keep the experience playful and not too serious. After all, Yoga should be fun!
I had the most gorgeous experience with Miriam. I was really impressed and inspired with her holistic yoga approach. Miriam had an excellent understanding of my imbalances (from an Ayurvedic perspective) and used this insight to develop a personalised yoga sequence, along with meditation exercises, for exactly what I needed. I felt so nurtured and cared for during our practices.
As an added value service, she then sent me an audio sequence to take home with me so that I can use this practice as part of my new daily ritual. (I could literally take her home with me!)
Miriam’s work ties in beautifully with her partner who is a mindset and performance coach. Their work complements each other beautifully.

I had the chance to have many private lessons with the amazing Miriam, who is really listening to one’s specific needs and who is perfectly adapting to it. I have been learning lots of behing the scene, from the diet to the different types of yogas that fits every single person… I have been really appreciating it and would not hesitate to do another month training! Miriam led me through a wonderful morning yoga/meditation session. As a beginner I was a bit nervous how much I could do but Miriam guided me through a flow of positions suited my level and made me appreciate how yoga can elevate our well being. She was attentive to my physical end emotional condition and individualzed the session accordingly. It was a rejuvenating session. Miriam is a beautiful person and emits a calming glowing energy. She has inspired me to incorporate morning yoga/meditation into my life.
A few years ago I was faced with a few medical conditions that hugely affected my health. Dealing with autoimmune disease and a few physical restraints, I could not imagine myself being physically active much. I did not consider yoga to be a part of my healing journey until recently.
A few months ago I was introduced to the wonderful Miriam as a Holistic Yoga Instructor and started private classes with her. Miriam customised her practice according to my physical needs and that allowed me to feel empowered and strong, rather than what I used to feel, which is restricted and broken.
Miriam not only customised her practice to my needs, but her energy, patience and dedication to my health journey has been impeccable and incredibly powerful for my soul. Her nurturing spirit and amazing aura is so contagious that I feel that is a huge part of my healing process. She is a strong support system and never hesitates to go above and beyond, believing in me even when I doubt my own self.
Miriam is the sunshine needed on a gloomy day, and I am so thankful and grateful to have met her and her practice. I have a new found love to my physical body and I’m no longer scared to move thanks to that.
